About Me

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Granda. I have several decades of experience in the publishing industry, most notably for the academic publisher M.E. Sharpe, Inc. (now part of Taylor & Francis/Routledge). My journey began in the production department where I handled journals and books. Transitioning to the editorial department, I focused on the political science and Slavic disciplines, overseeing book production and addressing permissions issues. Progressing to the role of associate editor, I worked in economics and public administration and established and managed the company’s subrights program. My reputation is built on my meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in the Chicago Manual of Style and APA Style.

I am further developing my expertise by enrolling in relevant courses and avidly consuming books pertaining to my profession. These courses and books can be reviewed along with my work experience here.

Personally I’m a bit of a nerd as I have collected comic books long before Marvel’s movie franchise (Captain Marvel was my favorite). I love animals—I have cats and a dog—and also like to read, knit, and play the piano.
